Underwater UFOs

It's time to get back to some real issues. Like Underwater UFOs.
Weird stuff going on here. I, personally, agree that there are unexplained things in our atmosphere, and apparently in our lakes and oceans. Very odd things. However, I can't make the leap to these things being of alien nature. Anything traveling that far would not be that low tech. I think true aliens would not even be recognizable to us. Like multi-dimensional holographic eggplants or something. Or perhaps not interested in us at all.
But let's say that they are real. For the sake of argument, extra-solar system intelligences are now, and have been for a long time screwing with us. For fun or profit, we don't know, but if so, shouldn't this be taken into account in our creation myths? Intelligent design need not mean a 14.5B year old judeo-christian being floating around worrying about the sex lives of primates and co-authoring very boring and self-conflicting reading material. Seems to me that guy is even perhaps less likely than an alien intelligence's science fair project. Let the reader(s) of Yoshimitsu Rapture decide...
