A New Crew in Town

If you're still trying to decide which is better, the 1978 version of Battlestar Galactica with its robot dogs, or the new version with its hot Cylons, I think this video will help you make the right call.

I have watched a few episodes, but I have not gotten into it. For one thing, the people are too attractive. I can't really relate to the plight to hot skinny people. Alien creatures - yes. Underwear models - no.

Second, what's all this I hear about colonists doing suicide bombings? Is there some sort of anti-American theme there? I'm always on the look out for such themes probably because I live in a place full of naive so-called pacifists.

Let's just say that if the evil Saruman were creating his Orc army in, say, Idaho, and the Hobbits were from Seattle, all of Middle Earth would be lost. The Hobbits would ask for "more dialog" and rationalize that "Orcs have their own culture, who are we to judge?" and conclude with "Bush is the real enemy" all the way up until little Hobbit skins are used as decorations in Saruman's foyer.

So that's why I have not watched much BSG.

What is wrong with you? Did you actually type that you don't watch BSG because the chicks are too hot? It is the best written show on television, regardless of genre. And watch the spoilers! I haven't seen season 3 yet.
